The following individuals serve in roles of leadership at South Fork Friends Church. They are pastoral staff and members who oversee the business, spiritual needs, and/or music needs of the congregation. We are thankful for their service and invite you to connect with them if you are interested in serving in a specific capacity.
Andrew has been on staff at South Fork since December 2007. He first served as Youth Pastor before becoming the pastor. He loves geeking out on Biblical languages, archeology, and history. One of his favorite places is in his yard and garden at home. Andrew earned his masters degree from Campbell University Divinity School in 2018 with a concentration in Biblical Studies. His life verse is Philippians 2:13: "for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Mary came on staff as youth pastor for middle and high school students in 2013. Before serving in the church, she taught kindergarten and first grade at two local elementary schools. She earned her Master's Degree from Campbell University Divinity School in 2017. Mary enjoys traveling, watching sunsets, and spending time with family and friends. One of the many passages that speaks to her is Psalm 145, a beautiful reminder of who God is and why she serves Him.
Ellen retired as an elementary teacher, and now enjoys reading and working in her yard. She also loves to spend time with grandchildren!
One of her favorite verses is II Corinthians 4:6, “For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”
Kevin works for Chatham County as the Environmental Quality Director. He has many gifts and talents that he shares in a variety of ways.
